The jam is nice, and my husband eats it (I wasn't sure if he would, but it tastes enough like bought jam for him!), and the children like it too. I used the above recipe or equivalent because I had more fruit. It seems like the sugar around the top of the jar has crystallized to white stuff, but it doesn't taste bad and it isn't mouldy.
